What we collect

  • Forms you submit (claim, correction, profile request, "Get notified"): the details you type, such as name, work email and phone. These are kept separately from analytics.
  • Site activity: pages and company profiles viewed, searches (with emails, phone numbers and long numbers removed), filters used, result impressions and clicks. Events are tied to random IDs, not to your name or email.
  • Approximate location (country, state, metro) derived from your IP address. We do not store your IP address; a daily-salted hash is kept for at most 30 days for bot detection.
  • Device type and browser family, not the full user-agent string. Referring site host only, not the full URL.

Cookies and storage

  • lt_vid: random analytics visitor ID, 13 months. Set only if analytics is allowed.
  • lt_sid (session storage): random session ID, ends after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • lt_consent: remembers your analytics choice, 13 months (essential).
  • lt_internal: marks staff browsing so it is excluded (staff only).
  • We do not currently use Google Analytics.

Purposes

Running and improving the site; measuring how often companies appear in searches and are viewed; producing aggregated, de-identified reports for employers and the public; and preventing fraud and bots.

Sharing

  • Employers receive only aggregate counts about their own profile, never visitor-level data.
  • Form details go to an employer only when you submit something to that employer.
  • We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Analytics data is not shared with Matador Lending or any other employer.
  • We commit not to re-identify de-identified data and require recipients not to re-identify it.

Retention

  • Raw analytics events, impressions and rank snapshots: 13 months, then deleted.
  • Search text: 90 days, then removed.
  • IP hashes: 30 days.
  • Daily and monthly aggregate reports: kept, with no identifiers.

Your choices and rights

We honor Global Privacy Control. You can opt out of analytics identifiers or delete your analytics data on Privacy choices. Visitors from the EU, UK, EEA and Switzerland are asked before any analytics identifier is set. Residents of California, Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon and other states can request access, deletion or correction by emailing contact@lendertalent.com. We respond within 45 days.
