Editorial policy

Data honesty

• We show a company fact only when it has a source, shown with its date.
• Unknown means unknown. We write "Not yet reported" instead of guessing.
• Facts older than 12 months show "May be outdated"; older than 24 months are hidden from result cards.
• Channel benchmarks are labeled "Industry benchmark" and are never presented as a company's plan.
• Company recruiting claims are labeled "Company-claimed" with date and source.
• We do not publish star ratings or reviews.

Sponsored placements

Up to two "Sponsored" cards may appear above organic results. They are shown only to paying subscribers whose profile matches every filter you have set, and they are visually separate from organic results. Sponsored cards are not counted in the organic ranking, and payment never changes organic order. If a sponsor also ranks organically, we hide its duplicate organic card but keep its organic position for reporting. Today no company sponsors a placement, so none are shown.

Conflict of interest

Our founder also runs Matador Lending (NMLS #2072896). Its profile, if listed, follows the same rules as everyone else with a visible ownership note.

AI-assisted drafting

We may use AI tools to draft or extract data. A person reviews content before it is published as reviewed.

Use our corrections form. We act within 3 business days and log changes.
